Differentiated Mitigation Commitments & Warsaw Outcome

Two Reports from the LDC Paper Series

Published: 17/04/2014

The Least Developed Countries (LDC) are 48 nations that are especially vulnerable to climate change but have done the least to cause the problem. They work together at the intergovernmental negotiations under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The LDC Paper Series has been produced by the ecbi Publications and Policy Analysis Unit for the LDC Group. Ecofys have been selected to deliver two of the series of papers recently:

One paper focuses on options to differentiate mitigation commitments under the new international climate treaty expected to be agreed by 2015. The other paper analyses the outcomes of the UN climate negotiation conference in Warsaw last year, with specific emphasise on topics of high priority to the LDC Group.
