Green Growth Best Practice

The Green Growth Best Practice initiative (GGBP) is a global network of expert researchers and practitioners set up to accelerate learning and to inform the design and implementation of green growth programs internationally. Throughout 2012-14 the GGBP engaged 75 international authors to undertake a global assessment of practices and lessons from green growth programs in all regions of the world.

As part of the core project delivery team, Ecofys supported the design and delivery of the assessment and led the work of over 27 expert authors across three international teams, covering the topics: green growth planning and coordination; national and subnational integration; and monitoring and evaluation. The project resulted in the first comprehensive global assessment of practice in the design and implementation of green growth presented through 60 detailed case studies and the publication: Green Growth in Practice: Lessons from Country Experiences.
