Ecofys, a Navigant company, supports German Ministry for the Environment in promoting climate action and cooperation in Southeast Europe

Ecofys, a Navigant company, is leading a three-year project which aims to contribute to a strengthened European integration in climate action. With a particular focus on Southeast Europe, the project aims to promote a joint ambition in realising the Paris Agreement. Through a bi- and multilateral dialogue, the experts will help facilitate an exchange between national and regional governments, municipalities and schools in Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Portugal and Germany.

Next to Ecofys, a Navigant company, the consortium is comprised of 10 international partners, among them adelphi and the Independent Institute for Environmental Issues (UfU). Together, the project team will provide expert knowledge, leverage good practice examples of climate protection, build capacity in municipalities and schools, transfer knowledge and facilitate multi-level governance action.
