Long Lam M.Sc. is a senior consultant and based in Utrecht. Long has supported the private and public sector on the topics EU ETS Phase 3 and post-2020, European industrial competitiveness analysis, international industry GHG mitigation policy analysis, upscaling GHG mitigation, non-ETS emissions trading and the California GHG Cap‑and‑Trade Program. Long is one of the co-authors of the World Bank’s Mapping Carbon Pricing Initiatives 2013 report and the World Bank’s States and Trends of Carbon Pricing 2014 report. Furthermore, specifically to the EU ETS, he has worked on free allocation, carbon leakage, impact of carbon price uncertainty on investment decisions, cap-setting approaches, state aid for indirect EU ETS costs, the Market Stability Reserve and post-2020 design of the EU ETS. He holds a M.Sc. (with distinction) and B.Sc. (with distinction) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Delft.
