Vincent’s areas of expertise are greenhouse gas emission reduction analyses and energy and carbon management, both on a strategic (national and international) level and for individual organizations. Vincent manages science-based targets projects and projects related to WWF’s Climate Savers program. Both are prestigious environmental achievement standards for international corporations. Vincent worked with WWF for: Coke, Collins Co., Novelis, RCCL, HP, J&J, National Geographic and several other large corporations. Vincent is the lead author of the 2012 impact assessment of WWF’s Climate Savers Program. This analysis showed that over thirty climate savers corporations avoided over 100 million tons of carbon dioxide between 1999 and 2011. Vincent did a wide variety of net positive and avoided emissions work for global frontrunners such as KPN, BT and SKF. Vincent has a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He began his career working on energy efficiency for a Dutch regional government. His early Ecofys career mainly focused on energy management solutions, steadily transitioning into energy and carbon management and design and implementation of emission reduction solutions. Vincent’s recent work includes several projects related to smart grids, demand response and energy storage. Vincent worked for the utility Eneco’s strategy department for half a year. Vincent’s customers include corporations, governments, water councils and universities. His clients are mostly based in the US, Europe, Australia and South-Korea.
