Ecofys
enters the Italian market
A
well-visited seminar in Turin on the challenges put forward by the
Kyoto protocol marked the official start of Ecofys Srl. Ecofys Srl
is a joint venture between Ecofys and Golder Associates Europe. The
opening of the Turin office marks the seventh European country where
Ecofys rolls out full-fledged operations.
The Italian market seems
to value the pragmatic and solution driven approach of Ecofys. The
first assignments in the areas of energy efficient building, district
heating and wind energy have been signed. In the near future Ecofys
Srl expects to develop solar energy projects as well.
Ecofys is part of the Econcern group. Ad van Wijk, CEO Econcern,
is pleased to extend business to Italy. According to Van Wijk: “The
