Banienoe gives room to solar heating

In a major renovation project the Dutch housing association Banienoe has equipped one of her apartment buildings in Sliedrecht with a collective solar heating system. The system will supply 80 apartments with hot water. For this project 90 square meters of solar collectors have been installed. The project is part of the Platform for Solar Heating, an initiative of Ecofys with which solar systems can be implemented in a cost-effective way due to large-scale procurement and favourable subsidies.
