NEPIC has contracted Ecofys to provide support and advice on legislation over next 3 years
The North East Process Industries Cluster (NEPIC) has contracted Ecofys to provide support and advice on UK and European legislation relating to biofuels over the next 3 years. NEPIC North East is charged with implementing the Regional Biofuels Strategy for North East England and works very closely with the whole biofuels industry in the UK. Our work will help keep NEPIC up to date on all aspects of biofuels policy and includes an annual workshop for interested companies.

The European Commission (DG Environment) has contracted Ecofys to help prepare the European Community's 5th National Communication
This is a wide ranging document that brings together and summarises almost all EU-level activity related to Climate Change. Our work, which is in a consortium with AEA, will involve close collaboration with many of the Commission Directorates-General as well as the European Environment Agency and various other stakeholders, such as Member States, NGOs and industry associations.
