The international cluster has a multidisciplinary staff of 90 people.

(Junior) consultant climate neutral entrepreneurship

(m/f; 32-40 hours/week)

The Position

Climate change is posing one of the biggest challenges on mankind in the 21st century. Companies are increasingly aware of their responsibilities and the threads and opportunities in the field of climate change in relation to their businesses. Many companies implement carbon reduction targets or even decide to make all their activities or products climate neutral. Ecofys has many years of experience in advising leading global companies on carbon footprint calculation and developing carbon reduction strategies. As a junior consultant climate strategy you will support companies with carbon footprint calculations and possibilities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions cost effectively. Starting as a junior, you will grow towards a medior position, leading projects independently, within 1-2 years.

Your profile

Our ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with interest in climate change issues and sustainable energy solutions. You have a university degree in natural science, technology or environmental sciences and 2 years of relevant experience in the field of climate change and/or renewable energy. You are a teamplayer; you have a practical and commercial attitude and excellent communication skills. You are used to working in projects and meeting tight deadlines in terms of time and budget. You have a good knowledge and command of the English and Dutch language.
