Ecofys is providing offshore services for several costumers. In order to achieve quality services we are forming an offshore team. For this offshore team we are searching for an:

Wind Turbine Generator package managers

The position

The Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) package manager will have the responsibility for all aspects of specific project delivery including cost, time, quality and heath & safety.

The WTG package manager will also be involved in project development activities, pre sanction, to help ensure sanctioned expenditure will deliver appropriate returns. This will require the WTG package managers to interface across many technical and commercial areas of the business. Your responsibilities include:

• Manage the tender process and contribute to the project process.
• Support to development activities including participation in risk reviews.
• Attending site visits and team meetings to ensure continuous learning.
• Understand and plan the entire project process.
• Review and recommend appropriate contracting strategies.
• Manage the project to deliver benefits as per the scheme sanction.
• Manage Health, Safety and Environmental issues across the project.
• Take part in the recruitment and development of project support staff as required.
• Manage relationships with third parties e.g. land owners, HSE, local authorities.
• Ensure satisfactory handover to the customer.

Your profile

We are looking for an energetic, creative and enthusiastic manager (m/f). Our ideal candidate combines:

• Offshore experience is a must.
• At least 5 years working experience in technical multimillion projects.
• Negotiation skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Must be capable of participating in teams.
• Committed to actual delivery of process and policy into the business, not just a theoretician, someone with a “hands on” attitude.
• Challenge and results-orientated with a flexible and analytical approach to problem solving.
