O & M strategy engineer

Ecofys is providing offshore services for several costumers. In order to achieve quality services we are forming a wind energy inspection group which is to serve internal and external clients by undertaking inspection of operational wind farms, factory inspections and construction site inspections.

For this offshore team we are seeking for an:

O & M strategy engineer

The position

  • Determine the long term O&M strategy for offshore wind projects.
  • Valuation of long term O&M proposals of several suppliers.
  • General interface between supplier and development.
  • Collaboration in project teams.
  • Supplier result evaluation.
  • Valuation of change proposals from suppliers, production planning, development (e.g. costs, quality), HSE plans, working procedures and coordination of implementation of all mentioned before.
  • Handling of complaints in technical respects.
  • Quality control.
  • Providing documentation and specification.

Your profile

We are looking for an energetic, creative and enthusiastic engineer (m/f). Our ideal candidate combines:

  • An electro-mechanical education and industrial experience, ideally through wind turbine service, commissioning or manufacture.
  • Offshore experience is a pre.
  • Good English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • MS Windows and Office applications are a basic requirement.
  • Willingness to travel.
