Ecofys is providing offshore services for several costumers. In order to achieve quality services we are forming a wind energy inspection group which is to serve internal and external clients by undertaking inspection of operational wind farms, factory inspections and construction site inspections. For this team we are searching for a:

Marine Warranty Surveyor / Employers Representative

The position

To ensure the safety is offshore works we are seeking for a Marine Warranty Surveyor / Employers Representative.

• Assesses contractors in order to ensure safe working procedures
• Maintains and control daily Safety practices with regular checks of work sites, ensures that hazards are identified, precautionary measures are taken
• Promote safe working procedures and ensuring that all Safety regulations and practices are adhered to.

• Checks the contractors for approval for Health, Safety and Environmental programs, working procedures and project execution plans at assigned location, and ensure that such procedures and regulations are followed
• Prepare detailed lists of foreseeable Safety requirements for operational needs
• Studies and comments all engineering designs and drawings pertaining to modifications of plant, equipments, installations, fire protection systems, or projects works to ensure adherence to safety rules, standards and codes of practice, during all phases of implementation on Site.
• Ensure that the proper record for inspection/maintenance and testing of all safety, fire and lifesaving equipment/systems are maintained and readily available.
• Ensure the preservation of the environment’s components, characteristics and natural balance; the prevention, reduction or combating of pollution, the preservation of natural resources, and the protection of life forms which exist therein, especially those endangered with extinction, and the development andenhancement of all such components.
• Promote Waste Management program to collect, store, transport and disposal of waste on sites.
• Participate for elaboration of occupational health programs with all aspects of the employee’s health and the employee’s relationship with the environment.
• Participates in the early stages of projects involving new equipment, products, materials, and processes to assure proper consideration of HSE

Your profile

We are looking for an energetic, creative and enthusiastic engineer (m/f). Our ideal candidate combines:

• B.Sc. Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• At least 5 years varied experience in Fire & Safety field, including experiences within an offshore industry environment.
