Senior Consultant - Wind Energy

The position

Our candidate has the professional and personal capacities to contribute to the growth of our wind energy activities in Italy. You combine years of experience in wind energy with a commercial attitude. You will be responsible for acquiring projects, negotiating, contracting and managing contracts for commercial clients such as project developers, banks, financial institutions and (local) authorities. You will guide and educate junior colleagues in the execution of feasibility studies, impact studies and permit applications. You will be able to present Ecofys in your network, in front of clients and partners and in co-operation with international Ecofys wind experts.

Your profile

• Scientific academic background (Engineering and Physics preferably)
• Working level in natural sciences or energy technology.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in wind energy, either project development or consultancy
• Knowledge of wind energy developments both from a technical and permitting point of view
• Solid network in Italy, preferably sector oriented (project developers, authorities, utilities, banks, consultants)
• Strong commercial attitude and entrepreneurial skills in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive market place
• Strong analytical skills, solution oriented approach
• Excellent (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills, both in Italian and in English.
