PV project development for Kuwaiti school campus

The Ardiyah campus in Kuwait  is a school for boys and girls that has a roof area of 28,000 m2 in total. For the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education, Ecofys supported  the front end project development of a 2 MW PV system on 32 buildings of the Ardiyah School Campus. This is one of the first to be built large PV systems in Kuwait.

Ecofys pre-designed the PV system and selected the optimal roof locations. We also designed the electrical infrastructure and the grid connection. Ecofys prepared the tender documentation and supported the customer in the selection process. We reviewed local regulations and standards and advised the client on critical points to be considered. In addition, Ecofys  carried out the full development and designed the installation and commissioning phase.
