Martina Jung
International Climate Policies

Dr. Martina Jung is unit manager of international climate policies at Ecofys. She has ten years of experience in the field of international climate policy, especially on the design of carbon market mechanisms (CDM, JI) as well as climate policy post-2012 (Nationally Appropriate mitigation Actions (NAMAs), sectoral approaches, as well as financing). Martina’s regional focus is on the Latin American region, especially Mexico, Chile and Peru. From 2002 to 2005, she was a research fellow at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWA) focusing on the Clean Development Mechanism, and Land use, Land-use change and Forestry. In September 2005, she completed a Ph.D. on ‘Carbon Sequestration Options in the International Climate Regime’ in the framework of the Max-Planck Research School on Earth System Modeling. Martina has been a delegate to most of the Conferences of the Parties to the UNFCCC and its subsidiary bodies since 2002.
