Kickoff international school project Check it Out!
Utrecht, 19 October 2006 - Monday the 16th of October the school project Check it Out! had its international start. All partners from the participating countries (Bulgaria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany) gathered in Utrecht for the kick off of the project introducing energy savings at several schools.
 Monday the 16th of October the school project Check it out! had its international start. All partners from five countries (Bulgaria, Hungary, Netherlands, Spain and Germany) gathered in Utrecht for the kick off of the project introducing energy savings and education on sustainable development at several schools.
The objectives of Check it out! are to support actors responsible for renovation of schools to implement energy saving measures and create a common educational approach that involves pupils in energy issues in school and at home. Check it Out! will last for 30 months. During the project the results will be disseminated throughout Europe, on national and local level. The project is supported by the European Commission and will be coordinated by Ecofys Netherlands BV.
