Primary school in Goes brings innovative energy system in use

The new housing estate "Ouverture" has been developed by the municipality of Goes in the Netherlands as a high-grade and sustainable residential area. Ecofys developed an innovative concept for the municipality, arranging the energy supply of the area in a sustainable way. A school will be the first to use the innovative low-energy system, which utilisates individual heatpumps in collective control. This concept results in 30% lower carbondioxide emissions in comparison to high efficiency boilers. The heatpump system will be put in use on 28 October.
