European Energy scenarios: from theory to practice (SERPEC)

Kornelis Blok will present the new mitigation cost curves that Ecofys prepared for the entire European Union. The databases contain detailed information on mitigation potentials and costs per country, per sector and per gas. The net costs for society to reduce EU’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2030 by 45% compared to 1990 turn out to be very modest.
